Keeping Things in Perspective

Picture

I was on the Farrah Fawcett Foundation Facebook page the other day and noticed that someone was trashing the quality of their products. To say I was stunned would be an understatement.

It's important that people realize what the purpose of the Farrah Fawcett Foundation is - cancer research, cancer awareness, and to help those less fortunate. All things Farrah was passionate about. And when you purchase a product from the FFF store, all proceeds go directly to help support their mission. But, with this said, I will address the quality of the products.

I purchased a t-shirt back in July of this year and was thrilled with the quality. I also received a free t-shirt from Alana Stewart a month ago. It was her way of thanking me for my contributions to their Tex Mex-Fest. So I currently have two.
Without a doubt, the quality of the material of the shirts and the thickness of the decals were top notch. Additionally, the company they use is well known for offering officially licensed merchandise. Trust me when I tell you, you won't be unhappy with your purchase. And while I'm thrilled with the quality of the products, for me, it was never about that. It simply felt great to contribute to a worthy cause. I think it's important not to forget this.

So, if you can, please help support the FFF by purchasing one of their products or a direct donation. I've done both. Image above scanned from the original 35mm slide. Farrah Fawcett: 46th Annual Tony Awards, May 31, 1992. *This image should not be downloaded for any purpose.
